PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: TURTLEING
Divealanche players may turtle at any time. If this happens, you should CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY. Do not wait, hoping that the turtle will extract itself from its protective shell. Remember these facts the next time you witness a turtleing:
This is the universal sign for turtleing (Figure A). If you witness someone using this sign CALL 911 IMMEDIATELY.
After calling 911, attempt to dislodge the turtle using the Heimlich-McCarty maneuver (Figure B).
This illustration shows the proper hand placement during the Heimlich-McCarty maneuver. Repeatedly drive your fist against the turtle's shell in attempt to dislodge the sissy from its hiding place. Continue pounding until the officials arrive.
